Rhinoplasty With Chin Reshaping Surgery

During these dual surgeries, which are performed at the same time, the nose is reshaped into a more attractive size and shape, and the chin is either augmented with a small silicon implant, or reduced if too big.

The aim of this surgery is to create perfect harmony between your features and it is recommended by Mr./Dr. Ferrando only when strictly necessary.

The distance between the eyes, the shape and size of the lips, as well as the size and shape of the cheekbones, all contribute to the appearance of the nose, however,  the one feature that most influences the appearance of the nose, is the chin.

A receding chin, or one that doesn’t protrude very much, will cause the nose to appear larger and more dominant in the face. This is particularly noticeable hen looking at the profile. In the same way, a chin that is too big for the face, will effect the appearance of the nose.

The Consultation

At the consultations, Mr Ferrando will take your medical history, thoroughly assess you, find out about your expectations of the surgery and will explain each stage of Rhinoplasty/Chin Reshaping procedure to you.

He will carefully discuss all options suitable to you and answer any questions you may have. The exact procedure depends on the anatomy of the patient. Clear communication about your aesthetic goals is vital at this stage.

Mr Ferrando will also explain the risks of smoking, the contraceptive pill (women) and other medications to you, as they can interfere with the procedure as well as the healing process.

Mr Ferrando strongly believes that “good communication and feedback” between himself and his patients assures a maximum satisfactory outcome of Cosmetic Surgery.

Risks and Side Effects

Mr Ferrando will talk you through any possible risks and side effects at his consultations as they will vary depending on the patient’s body shape, age, condition and lifestyle.
